Ya, it cost a lot, and it's worth it too !!! This is THE book if your programming the Schweitzer RTAC or similar device. Though, I should note the author assumes you have already been programming PLCs or using Pascal or C or something, it's not a "IEC 61131 for Dumbos book", but you don't need to be a real "programmer" to understand it at all. It's a big book, so don't expect to finish it in a weekend, but it is a must-have for anyone doing IEC logic.

An excellent reference to 61131. Since moving to PLCs from pure embedded, I had a lot of questions that weren't being answered after hours of trolling. Within hours of reading, the fog has lifted and life has meaning again. Would have liked to have seen a dedicated section on high level language example comparisons, maybe next edition.

It is the only book on the market that covers the latest rules of IEC 61131. It covers everything in non systematic approach method and it is an expensive book too.
