The Product Key is generally located in the lower left corner of the DVD case, on the disc itself, or on a leaflet in the packaging you received.

OEM versions of Windows operating systems are not guaranteed by Microsoft to install successfully on your computer. Buyers need to be prepared to find all needed drivers and applications to make the computer work properly. This is also dependent upon how old the computer is and whether their is still technical support for the installed hardware. If your hardware is functioning properly and is still supported by OEM or aftermarket then its a matter of expense and your ability to rebuild computers with an operating system installed only. I researched the requirements for my older computer prior to purchase and decided to buy. Some of the pre-installed Toshiba utilities and features like the Qosmio player are not supported by newer operating systems. I am very happy with the Windows 7 install on my particular computer because all major components and applications are working great.
